Random thoughts on Play

An old school friend posted this picture of one of the last days at school. I don't remember the picture being taken. But it fascinated me to think as we played this game of monopoly that my career was a blank canvas . I was hoping to become a teacher but never imagined that most of my work would centre around Play and Playwork. And now, as I near the end of my career I still find myself taking up new and different opportunities . Today I prepared the final touches of a new website - having fun with Kelly, creating images and posters about some Play based workshops and I also heard that I had got confirmation to deliver a qualification in a local nursery... and last but not least, I'm learning how to blog. Let the fun begin.
